"Le Piaf on Treasure was just that, a treasure. While I stayed only one night Cecile made me very welcome and was so helpful with information of what to do and see in Maryborough. It was just what I needed - quiet and comfortable. The room was beautiful and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable I will definitely be back and I recommend Le Piaf to all." -- Chris, July 2016
"What a lovely welcome from Cécile I received! Her big French smile made me feel instantly like I was staying with a friend for the night. The room is beautiful - all new - with a really comfortable bed, and the en suite is lovely with everything you need." -- Julia, October 2016
"We received a warm welcome from Cecile, and were swept away with the size and presentation of the room. We were made to feel totally at home, with gorgeous linen, really luxuriant bath towels and all furnishings were superb. I think we had five varieties of tea, some lovely home made French patisserie and a beautiful sheltered outdoor dining space. Cecile suggested a guided walk through the town, which we did and were enthralled at the history of Maryborough. We thoroughly recommend this space, and advise clients not to be put off by it being a room as it is totally separate to the house, and possibly is the best place we have stayed at...we even had our own Madamoiselle ( the family puss) visit us in the morning to say Bonjour!" -- Susie & Roger, June 2016
"Cecile was a delightful, gentle welcoming host who made every effort to accommodate our interest and needs. We enjoyed joining the local Arts Council for its Film Evening and making use of the free City Walk the next day. Both at her suggestion." -- Lynne & Keith, September 2016
"From start to finish, the whole experience was first rate for the following reasons: Cecile responded to my request for a booking within half an hour, clear communication via email established an afternoon arrival time, on arrival Cecile was most welcoming & explained the necessary details + had a fresh muffin to accompany my cup of tea, the room, bathroom, verandah & surrounding areas were all very clean. In addition to all of this, my stay was most comfortable due a comfortable bed, cosy linen, soft towels & great shower. Cecile's house is also located in a quiet street within 5 mins drive of the Brolga Theatre where my conference was being held. My room was also separate from the main house however a gorgeous verandah provided a link between the 2. This configuration enable both me & Cecile to have our own privacy, and still interact with each other as desired. It was a most pleasant stay & I hope to revisit with my husband at a later date. Well done Cecile & so much nicer that a motel room. I think you have nailed it." -- Bronwyn, October 2016
